Paita winning the Criterieum De Saint Cloud

Group 1 Winner!!

Especially exciting was Paita (Intikhab – Prada) who won the Gr 1 Criterium De Saint Cloudin her 2yo season when trained by Mario Hofer. Paita continued to do well at 3, finishing 3rd in the Prix Diane and Vermeille, to champion fillies Divine Proportions and Shawanda. Paita won the Prix Allez France Gr3 impressively on her first start last year, followed on by a good 2nd to Pride in a Gr2 last time. She has now been retired to stud and has a foal by supersire Monsun!

Wake Up Maggie winning Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes
Wake Up Maggie (Xaar – Kalagold) was an impressive winner in the €300,000 Tattersalls Ireland Sales Stakes beating Group 2 Mill Reef winner Cool Creek & Group 1 Moyglare 2nd Ugo Fire. Her final start at 2 was a close 2nd in the Gr1 Cheveley Park Stakes. 2006 was a frustrating year for Maggie.5th in the 1,000 gns on her reappearance, and again had to contend with soft ground when a head 2nd to Michael Stoutes Jersy stakes winner Jeremy in a listed race at Newmarket next time, she was again an unlucky hd 2nd in a Gr3 in Ireland to brilliant Gr 1 winner Spinning Queen!Maggie won in the Gr3 Chartwell Fillies Stakes at Lingfield, and another Gr3 in impressive fashion at Goodwood. After making £300,000 in the December sales she is continuing her career in California and has set of to a great start with an easy win in a stakes race at Hollywood.

Champions Gallery (Dansili – Pure) was a great pinhook at Newmarkets Breeze-Up,improving his price tag from 17,000gns to 120,000gns!
He justified this with an impressive win in a Salisbury maiden, going on to win Impressively at Ascot after being backed from 20-1 to 7-1! He also bagged the £50,000 Totesport handicap at Beverley, and is now with Andreas shutz Hong Kong,he won his first start in good style, and was a close third in the Gr 1 HK Derby on his last start beaten only a length from a bad draw!

Guilia (green) swooping late to win first time out
Guilia (Galileo – Lesgor) was another impressive winner of a hot maiden at Thirsk on her only 2yo start. We have always held her in high regard, and she certainly proved that on her only outing this year, unlucky to be beaten a short head in the Swettenham Stud oaks trial by Scottish Stage. Guilia went on to be 5th in the Oaks, despite her Inexperience and difficulty handling the track.Unfortunately she suffered an Injury in the Lancashire Oaks next time and didn't run up to form after. She finally got back to form in her last start beaten only a head third in a listed race at Lingfield. This talented filly is now in foal to Dalakhani.

Stubbs Art (Hawk Wing - Rich Dancer)is another good horse from last years draught.A progressive 2yo with plenty of scope,he has set of to a fantastic year with a brilliant 3rd in both the English & Irish 2,000 GUINEAS!Trainer David Elsworth may well be training another Gr 1 winning Breeze-Up by the end of the year!

2008 has set off to a great start with 4 of our 7 Newmarket Breezers running well already. Two Impressive maiden winners in Touching (Kheleyf x Feminine Tough -45k at Guineas sale) & Mamlakati (Invincible Spirit x Elba -150k at Craven sale).Touching was third in a listed event at Sandown after that & is being rested for an Autumn campaign.Mamalakati is expected to go on to much better things also, and has always been highly regarded.
Our other 2 runners have both been 4th in hot Newmarket maidens 1st time out,Invincible Heart(Invincible Spirit x Flamingo Bay-44,000 Guineas sale)has gone on to show good form in another 2 starts & is rated 95,he could easily bag a listed event by the end of the season, especially as softer ground suits.
Fen Spirit (Invincible Spirit x Irinatinvidio-26,000 Guineas sale)was a bargain who is sure to win her maiden, she dissapointed when beaten favourite 2nd time, but probably doesn't stay 1m.
Another to look forward to is the gorgeous Sand Tiger (Indian Ridge x Anayid-100,000 Craven sale)who is with Andre Fabre in Fance for Sheikh Mohamed,he was an Impressive winner 1st time out at Maisons Laffite on the 22nd Oct & is potentially top class, connections are delighted with him & are sure,as we are, that he's a Group horse!

We have had 85% win/place from only 8yrs runners from all Breeze-Up sales! We have also had 17% black type horses/runners in the last 5yrs,Including a Gr1 winner & 2 Gr1placed!Our aim is to provide good racehorses, attractive individuals to suit varying tastes. We had our best quality bunch ever this year (10 Individuals) and after enjoying a sucessful sale are looking forward to some more superstars from this bunch!
